Dina's Dynasty Ovarian Cancer Fund

Established in memory of Dina King Bray, a long time supporter and volunteer at UNC Lineberger, the Dina's Dynasty Ovarian Cancer Fund aims to support UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in developing a reliable screening method for ovarian cancer and providing outstanding care for ovarian cancer patients.

In May of 2017, Dina King Bray was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Three weeks later, she passed away. Her diagnosis came as a shock since her symptoms masqueraded, as ovarian cancer almost always does, as "normal." Upset stomach, bloating, discomfort in the abdomen. Unfortunately, there is currently no reliable screening method to diagnose ovarian cancer and our goal is to change that, so that no one else has to lose their wife, mother, sister, friend or daughter.
